New Construction
The Michaud Group will build sustainable green homes on your own lot. These homes will offer high performance green features that can save you significantly on your energy bills. We offer the ability to receive third party verification for your new home as green, through the NAHB National Green Building Program. The NAHB Program is a cost-effective, flexible and sensible program, making homes more resourceful and energy efficient.
Green Remodeling
As an addition to new construction we also offer green remodeling for older, and less energy efficient homes. Heating and cooling, account for more than 50% of the average American households energy consumption. We start with an energy audit, to determine what solutions can be made to improve the overall efficiency and comfort of your home. We then discuss with you solutions we can make, the cost associated with them, and decide which ones match your lifestyle and budget. The improvements can be made in conjunction with your remodeling project or to the extent your budget allows.
